Outline del sito | enumerate is pioneering the development of Web-based software, the Numerator! Suite™, to speed and simplify the tasks associated with exploring data. By allowing you to focus your attention on discovering the trends that the numbers reveal, and not the mechanical processes of formatting data or making charts and graphs, you're able to reach a decision sooner and more cost-effectively. |

The idea for enumerate was planted in the mid-1990s, when the computer world developed XML (eXtensible Markup Language), a powerful format that could transmit complex information across the Web. With XML's creation, enumerate's founders saw a business opportunity. They were convinced that XML technology could be used to dramatically simplify the process of working with numerical data. Their vision was to enable people without advanced data skills to navigate numerical content online - from stock portfolios and sports statistics to complex research and advanced equations - as easily as text was shared on the Web.
enumerate's founders, Russell T. Davis and William M. Diefenderfer III, formed enumerate to realize their vision of this Numbers Web™. Both had spent their careers working with data - Russ as an investment banker on Wall Street and Bill as Deputy Director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. Both were frustrated with current data analysis products and believed there would be a large market for tools that automated and simplified analytical tasks and enabled data sharing across the Web. |
