Outline del sitoVisualScript XML is the first visual scripting tool for XML.
Visual scripting allows you to program XML statements into graphical symbols, then simply "drag and drop" the symbols to sketch the flow of a business process. Then the software translates that sketch into an XML script! Visual Script XML is an excellent solution for your Business Process Management.
Contenuti del sitoVisual scripting is the process of generating XML code from a diagram. As FrontPage was to HTML, VisualScript is to XML.
Designing a script with VisualScript XML is much like drawing a diagram in SmartDraw or Visio. The user opens a template and then drags ready-made symbols onto the page to create a flowchart, organisational chart, form, or other diagram that models a real-world business process.
Unlike a diagramming program, VisualScript goes one step further and translates the diagram into XML code.
It does this by stringing together the XML code statements that are pre-programmed into the various symbols and shapes in the diagram (since VisualScript is a completely open system, these statements can be written in any scripting language). As the user adds shapes to the diagram, the corresponding statements are added to the script.
The pre-programmed symbols contain text-entry fields, which can be edited in the diagram, and which insert variable data into the output script.
When the diagram is complete, the user selects "Build Script" and the software automatically validates the resulting XML and generates the script.
For the end user, "visually scripting XML" is as easy as drawing a picture of the business process.
For the developer, visual scripting provides an easy way to create quick XML prototypes, to propagate new XML standards, and to ensure clean coding practices among other users of the ready-made symbols.
